Flamingo Gujarat

BCSG brings out a quarterly newsletter ‘Flamingo Gujarat’ for its members. The newsletter addresses articles based on Ornithology in Gujarat state. The submission includes short notes, field surveys, important sightings, Avian ecology, and Ethology. Information/appeal regarding conservation issues, field program reports related to Gujarat State are also published in Flamingo Gujarat. The Quarterly newsletter invites submission from all including students, researchers, faculties, NGO’s and birdwatchers (Avian information restricted to Gujarat state).

Flamingo Gujarat magazine is an upgraded version of Flamingo Magazine. The name shift was criteria brought under RNI application (as a requirement of the RNI title verification process). The application for RNI was later aborted by BCSG due to the Digital transformation of Magazine i.e., from print media to online e-print.

Issue Merging is based on decisions by the Editorial Board and is mostly due to the Lack of Article and Covid related issues (for years 2020-2022).
